Keep conversion scope narrow

The supported AimCurve path preserves modeled hip-fire distance. It does not claim that optical zoom, field of view or hero movement will feel identical.

If advanced look controls are active, document them separately. A simple hip-fire converter cannot represent a multi-parameter response curve and should not pretend to.

Pair center and outer-range evidence

A center sample finds resting offset; a sweep finds weak sectors, clipping and asymmetry. Together they distinguish two problems that players often group under “stick feels wrong.”

Repeat the sweep at a steady speed and do not score cosmetic circularity alone. Look for the same directional shortage across runs.

  • Compare the same directional sectors
Game-specific boundary: Advanced look controls and scoped multipliers are outside the simple hip-fire model.
