Browser results are endpoint observations
A webpage receives signals after hardware, firmware, connection, the operating system and optional remapping software. It cannot identify contamination, component wear, electrical bounce, USB transactions or radio interference. Repeat a suspicious result after changing one controlled variable.
Controller mappings vary
Generic devices may expose different button and axis orders. Triggers can appear as buttons or axes. Gyro, touchpads, battery, LEDs and vibration are not part of the diagnostic guarantee. Browsers may require a physical button press before exposing a controller.
Deadzone values are not universal
The tuner recommends a browser-observed radial starting point from one resting sample. Games may use axial, radial, hybrid or rescaled deadzones and may express values on different scales. A recommendation must be verified with slow deliberate movement and inside the target game's own controls.
Keyboard shortcuts may be unavailable
The operating system and browser intercept some shortcuts before the page receives them. Passing selected combinations does not prove full NKRO, and one missing reserved shortcut does not prove matrix ghosting. Language layouts can change the interpreted character while the physical code remains correct.
Mouse timing is not physical latency
Click intervals include the software delivery path. The double-click test cannot distinguish deliberate speed from an unintended repeat. Pointer events can be coalesced or delayed. The polling tool reports browser-observed event rate; it does not certify the configured USB rate.
Sensitivity conversion is a model
AimCurve preserves estimated hip-fire cm/360 using documented constants. It does not match FOV perception, scoped sensitivity, zoom, acceleration, animation, frame pacing or latency. Game updates and custom console values can invalidate a constant.
Local storage is not a cloud backup
Saved profiles are specific to the current browser storage. Cleanup, private mode, profile resets or device loss can remove them. Exported JSON is portable but not encrypted by Keymap Labs; inspect it before sharing and import only a trusted file.
Mobile and API availability
The layout is responsive, but hardware APIs depend on the browser and operating system. Touchscreens cannot reproduce the diagnostic meaning of a physical keyboard, gamepad or mouse. JavaScript, modern web APIs and a secure context are required for some functions; readable guidance remains available when an API is missing.
