What belongs here, and what belongs in the passport
Saved settings are decisions: the sensitivity you picked, the DPI you run, the deadzone you set after testing. They have no date history, because a setting is either the one you use or it is not. When you change one, edit the entry.
The Device Passport keeps measurements: what a lab observed on a given day, such as a stick resting at 4.2% or a mouse reporting at 1000 Hz. Those pile up over time on purpose, so a slow change — a stick starting to drift — shows as a trend.
A setting worth writing down
- Sensitivity together with the DPI it was set at. One without the other cannot be reproduced.
- The deadzone and how you found it — the tuner's recommendation, or a value from the game's own test screen.
- The connection: wired, dongle or Bluetooth. Deadzones and polling can differ between them on the same controller.
