PUBG: Battlegrounds input lab

PUBG input diagnostics for mouse consistency, dense keybind maps and separate controller checks.

Turn a dense bind list into a usable map

Combat, inventory, map and vehicle actions create a long list that is difficult to audit by eye. Enter the action, physical key and active context; only same-context duplicates are treated as direct conflicts.

A conflict-free list can still be uncomfortable. Test the movement and interaction clusters with the real keyboard and your normal hand position.

Repeatable checklist

  • Group actions by context
  • Resolve same-context collisions
  • Test movement and interaction combinations

Measure repeatability, not prestige numbers

High polling or DPI labels are not proof of a better setup. The browser tools report observed event timing and an estimated physical DPI with visible limitations.

If results vary, inspect measurement distance, pointer scaling, background load and connection before changing in-game sensitivity.

Repeatable checklist

  • Use a longer measured distance
  • Repeat without changing conditions
  • Document the median result and spread
Game-specific boundary: Mouse and controller settings use different models. Keep their profiles and conclusions separate.
Do not lose the baseline

One change. Same test. Clearer answer.

Keep the device, connection, platform, game build and previous setting beside every result.
