The biggest control decision in Path of Exile 2 is made before you are in the game: the input method can only be changed from the main menu or the character select screen. Choosing WASD costs you four skill keys, and that trade is the whole argument.

Path of Exile 2 builds two loadouts of skills around two weapon sets, and this key switches both at once. It is pressed mid-fight rather than between them, which is a strong argument for moving it off X and onto a mouse button. PC
