Minecraft Dungeons II controls & keybinds

Minecraft Dungeons 2 has no WASD on PC: you click or hold Mouse 1 where you want to go, and the same button attacks whatever it lands on. Space jumps, Mouse 2 fires your ranged weapon, 1 to 3 are the three artifacts and E drinks a healing potion. On a controller the left stick moves, A jumps, X swings, RT shoots, Y, B and RB fire the artifacts, LB rolls forward and the right stick dodges in any direction.

Can your board actually play Minecraft Dungeons II?

Every default bind, re-scored against the keyboard you own. Distance is measured from the left hand resting on WASD, because that is where it stays while you play.

On a 60% board Minecraft Dungeons II loses 4 keys. F1, F2, F3 and F4 are not on that board at all — so teleport to player 1, 2, 3 or 4 has nowhere to live until you rebind them. Do that before the first match rather than during it. How that compares with every other game.

Quick answers

Does Minecraft Dungeons 2 have WASD movement?

No. The released game still moves with the mouse, as the first one did: click or hold Mouse 1 where you want to go, and the same button attacks whatever it lands on. There is no separate force-move key either — hold Left Shift to swing where you stand. For stick movement on PC, plug in a controller.

How do you jump in Minecraft Dungeons 2?

Space on keyboard, A on Xbox, Cross on PlayStation. Press melee in mid-air — X or Square, Q on keyboard — and the jump becomes a slam that hits everything under you.

How do you dodge in Minecraft Dungeons 2?

There are two dodges now. LB or L1 rolls straight ahead; flicking the right stick rolls in the direction you flick. On keyboard, R rolls toward the cursor and the fifth mouse button rolls forward.

How do you open the mini inventory?

Hold D-pad Up on a controller — a tap opens the full inventory instead. On keyboard the mini inventory is Tab and the full one is I. The mini inventory does not pause the game, so everyone on a shared screen can swap gear at once.

How do you teleport to a friend in Minecraft Dungeons 2?

D-pad Left on a controller, X on keyboard. F1 to F4 teleport you straight to player one, two, three or four.

Can you change the controls in Minecraft Dungeons 2?

Yes. Every action can be reassigned in the controls settings, separately for keyboard and mouse and for controller.
