Can your board actually play Dragon's Dogma 2?

Every default bind, re-scored against the keyboard you own. Distance is measured from the left hand resting on WASD, because that is where it stays while you play.

A 60% board has every key Dragon's Dogma 2 asks for. 2 of its 23 default binds still need the left hand to leave WASD, so the board is not what holds you back here — the layout is. How that compares with every other game.

Quick answers

What are the controls in Dragon's Dogma 2?

On a controller, Square (X) is the light attack, Triangle (Y) the heavy attack, Cross (A) jumps, R1 (RB) is your vocation action and R2 (RT) grabs and climbs. Hold L1 (LB) and press a face button for weapon skills 1 to 4. The D-pad orders your pawns, and L1 with the D-pad uses items and the lantern. On a keyboard: W, A, S and D, Mouse 1 and V to attack, Space to jump and Left Ctrl with the attack keys for skills.

How do you use weapon skills 5 and 6?

Title Update 3.2 added them. Hold L1 (LB) and press two face buttons together: Triangle and Circle (Y and B) for skill 5, Square and Cross (X and A) for skill 6. Assign the skills in the vocation menu, and move them in Options › Controls › Button Mapping if the chord is awkward on your pad.

How do you climb on monsters?

Hold R2 (RT on Xbox, E on a keyboard) and jump into a large foe: you cling on while the button is held. Dashing before you jump can knock it off balance. Smaller enemies are picked up instead.

How do you give orders to your pawns?

With the D-pad, or 1 to 4 on a keyboard: up for Go!, down for To me!, left for Help! and right for Wait! Since Title Update 3.2 holding Go! sends them exploring and holding To me! asks for a high five.

How do you use healing items quickly?

Hold L1 (LB) and press D-pad up for a health item or D-pad down for a stamina item; the game picks the item. L1 with D-pad left opens the items menu and with right switches the lantern.

Can you change the controls in Dragon's Dogma 2?

Yes: Options › Controls › Button Mapping. Title Update 3.2 rebuilt the screen and added keyboard control types that fire or switch weapon skills with a single key.

What are the keyboard keys for weapon skills 5 and 6?

No source this page can check states them yet. Open Options › Controls › Button Mapping in the game; this page adds them once a source confirms them.
