On the keys: your hand is already there
Comfortable: a finger moves, the hand does not
Stretch: the hand lifts, movement wobbles

Reach uses the same key geometry as BindIQ, which can rebuild the whole layout for you once you know what is out of reach. Mouse buttons always count as reachable — your right hand is already there.

Six ways to stand, all on one hand

Siege asks more of the left hand than any other shooter here. Most games give you stand and crouch; this one gives you stand, crouch, prone, walk, lean left and lean right — and you change between them while aiming, mid-peek, without your aim moving. The binds are not hard to learn. Reaching all six without disturbing the mouse is the actual skill.

Competing for the same hand

Left Shift Sprint — the third job for a little finger already doing prone and walk
F Interact, rappel, drone, camera and defuser pickup, all context dependent
V Melee — a stretch, and the one you want instantly when a shield is on you

The little finger is the bottleneck: prone on Ctrl, walk on Alt and sprint on Shift are three jobs for one finger, and Siege wants two of them during the same peek. Move walk to a mouse side button and the crowding disappears without touching your muscle memory for anything else. Keep lean on hold rather than toggle — a lean you have to remember to cancel is how you die to a rotate — and put the drone somewhere close, because checking a camera should not mean letting go of movement while your team waits.
